DAY 01 SYDNEY ✈ ISTANBUL

Meet at the Sydney Airport to board a flight to Istanbul.

DAY 02 ISTANBUL

Arrival at Istanbul International Airport, after collecting luggage and passing immigration and customs, go to gate 8 where you must exit to locate the Honest Travel Group board where you will be received by one of our representatives. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

DAY 03 ISTANBUL

Breakfast. Day off. Accommodation.

Possibility of taking the optional guided excursion (not included – with additional cost) with lunch at a typical food restaurant “BOSPHORUS TOUR”. Departure to contemplate the spectacular panorama of the Golden Horn from Pierre Loti Hill; visit of the Cathedral of Saint George, main patriarchate of the Greek Orthodox Church and seat of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, recognized as the spiritual leader of the world’s Orthodox Christians; We continue to the Suleiman The Magnificent Mosque, designed by the Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan and which has the largest dome of all the mosques in Istanbul; We head to the Spice Bazaar, a place with special charm for its color and aromas, the place par excellence to purchase teas, herbs, nuts, typical sweets and of course spices; We culminate with a tour through the Bosphorus, the strait that divides the city between Europe and Asia, we will appreciate the wonderful views of the Ottoman fortresses, palaces, villas and the bridges that connect both sides of this city. 

 DAY 04 ISTANBUL

Possibility of taking the optional guided excursion (not included – with additional cost) with lunch in a typical food restaurant “JOYAS DE CONSTANTINOPLE”: Enter the historic center of the city, where you can observe the variety of vestiges of the different empires that They shaped the current Istanbul: the imposing Topkapi Palace, residence of the sultans and main administrative center of the Ottoman Empire; Hagia Sophia with its majestic Byzantine architecture and mix of Christian and Islamic religious elements; the Roman Hippodrome, the center of social life in Constantinople for thousands of years; the Blue Mosque with its more than 20,000 handmade ceramic tiles brought from Iznik; the Grand Bazaar, one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world and where haggling is a tradition.

DAY 05 ISTANBUL 🚌 ANKARA 🚌 CAPPADOCIA

Breakfast. Early departure by bus to Ankara and visit the capital of Turkey and the Mausoleum of the Founder of the republic. Arrival in Cappadocia. Visit of an underground city built by ancient local communities to protect themselves from attacks. Dinner and accommodation.

DAY 06 CAPPADOCIA

Breakfast. Departure to visit this wonderful region with its fascinating and original landscape, formed by volcanic lava for more than 3 million years. Visit to the Goreme Open-Sky Museum, a monastery with chapels dug into the volcanic rocks and decorated with 13th-century frescoes. Visit the impressive valleys of the region with their “otherworldly” landscapes, having served as a film set in the Star Wars films. You will also appreciate the views of the geological formations that are symbols of the region, the famous “Fairy Chimneys”. We will make a stop to appreciate the incredible and extensive panoramic view of the Valley of Pigeons, which owes its name to the numerous pigeon lofts excavated in the rocks, since in Cappadocia these animals have long been a source of food and fertilizer. Visit a typical Cappadocian jewelry and stone center and a carpet factory to learn about the production of these products. Dinner and accommodation.

DAY 07 CAPPADOCIA 🚌 ISTANBUL

Breakfast. Departure to Istanbul. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

DAY 08 ISTANBUL ✈ NAIROBI

Breakfast. Check out at 12:00 hrs. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Nairobi. 

DAY 09 NAIROBI 🚌 LAKE NAKURU 

Arrival, reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel where you will be provided with a light breakfast and refreshments. After breakfast, we will cross the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park (160 km, approximately 3 hours by car) and arrive in time for lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. Later, we will go on safari in Lake Nakuru National Park, recognized worldwide as an ornithological paradise and a sanctuary for the endangered Rothschild giraffes and black rhinos. We will return to camp in the afternoon as the sun sets in time for dinner and an overnight stay. Accommodation.

DAY 10 LAKE NAKURU 🚌 MAASAI MARA

Breakfast. We will drive along the Rift Valley to the world famous Maasai Mara game reserve and arrive in time for lunch at the Mara Sarova camp. Later in the evening, we will go on a game drive in the reserve. The Masai Mara is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south. Game abounds here, especially when migration is underway, and millions of wildebeest and zebra come and go across the Mara River on their annual journey. Mara is also noted for its abundance of plains game, lions (particularly black males), elephants, cheetahs, rhinos and even the elusive leopard. Dinner and accommodation.

DAY 11 MAASAI MARA

Breakfast. We suggest taking the optional (not included with additional cost) BALLOON FLIGHT: The adventure begins just before dawn. The departure is from a perfect natural launch site and the flames from the hot air balloon’s burners illuminate the darkness while the crews inflate their craft. The first pink hues of sunlight flicker across the sky as the balloon fills and then rises. Suspended in a basket beneath the rainbow-colored canopy, you’ll embark on a wildlife-watching adventure from a completely different perspective. What surprises most first-time balloonists is the absolute stillness – the silence as you float over the plains and rivers of the Masai Mara is unrivaled. Full day in Mara with extended morning and afternoon game drives to explore its vast plains and hills for more game-spotting opportunities. Dinner and accommodation.

DAY 12 MAASAI MARA 🚌 NAIROBI

Breakfast. Return to Nairobi by road and we will arrive in time for lunch at the world famous Carnivore restaurant. After lunch, we will take a guided afternoon city tour of Nairobi. The tour includes sightseeing tours of the city’s highlights including KICC, Parliament Buildings, Government Square, City Market and finally the impressive Nairobi National Museum and the adjacent Snake Park. After the city tour, transfer to the Hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

DAY 13 NAIROBI ✈ ISTANBUL ✈ SYDNEY

Breakfast. Check out at 12:00 hrs. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Istanbul. Passengers will remain in transit while waiting to take the next flight to Sydney. Board flight to Sydney.
