DAY 01 SYDNEY ✈ CAIRO
Meet at the Sydney airport to board a flight to Cairo. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
DAY 02 CAIRO
Breakfast. In the morning departure to visit the pyramids of Giza, a funerary complex formed by the pyramids of Cheops, one of the seven wonders of the World, Khafre, Mikerinos, the Sphinx of Khafre and the Valley Temple. Free afternoon.
At night we suggest doing an optional (with additional cost) LIGHT AND SOUND SHOW IN THE PYRAMIDS. Accommodation.
DAY 03 CAIRO
Breakfast. Day off. Accommodation.Optional excursion (with additional cost) to the EGYPTIAN MUSEUM where thousands of original pieces from Ancient Egypt are found, including the Treasures of Pharaoh Tutankhamun; The Citadel of Saladin; The Mosque of Mohamed Ali; The Coptic neighborhood where the Holy Family Church and Khan Khalili Bazaar are located.
DAY 04 CAIRO
Breakfast. Day off. Accommodation. We suggest taking the optional excursion (with additional cost) ALEXANDRIA WITH LUNCH: Known as the pearl of the Mediterranean, it is located about 220 km north of Cairo. Founded by Alexander the Great in 332 BC and was the capital of Egypt in Greco-Roman times, the Alexandria excursion includes a panoramic visit to the Qaitibai Citadel, a visit to the Montaza palace, which was originally established as the residence of summer of the royal family, to the great Library of Alexandria, the Catacombs of Kom El shokafa. (The catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa are considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages), the necropolis consists of a series of Alexandrian tombs, statues and other objects of great archaeological value.
DAY 05 CAIRO ✈ ASWAN
Breakfast. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport to take the flight to Aswan. Arrival, assistance. Visit to the Aswan High Dam. Accommodation.
DAY 06 ASWAN 🚢
Breakfast. Visit to the granite quarry with the unfinished obelisk weighing almost 200 tons. Later ride on a “Felucca”, a typical Egyptian sailing boat, around Elephantine Island and transfer to the boat for boarding. Lunch and dinner on board. Night on board.
DAY 07 KOM OMBO 🚢 EDFU
Full board on board. In the early morning possibility of taking an optional excursion (with additional cost) to the ABU SIMBEL TEMPLES. In the afternoon sailing to Kom Ombo. Arrival and visit to the temple dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris. We will also see a nilometer, used by the ancient Egyptians to measure the water level of this river. Navigation to Edfu. Night on board.
DAY 8 EDFU 🚢 ESNA 🚢 LUXOR
Full board regime on board. View of the Temple dedicated to the Falcon-headed God: Horus, built by the Ptolemies, the second largest and best preserved in Egypt. Navigation towards Esna to pass the lock and continue to Luxor and visit the Luxor temple. Night on board.
DAY 9 LUXOR ✈ AQABA 🚌 WADI RUM 🚌 AQABA
Breakfast and disembarkation. In the morning visit the temple of Karnak and then we will cross the Nile towards the western bank to visit the necropolis of Thebes, where we will discover the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs of the 18th to 20th dynasties, their wives and friends, are buried. the princes of royal blood, in tombs excavated in the rock of the mountains. We will also visit the Temple of Queen Hatchepsut in Dair Al Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport to take the flight to Aqaba. Arrival and optional visit (with additional cost) to the WADI RUM DESERT, one of the settings for the films “The Martian” and “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker”, and one of the most spectacular environments in the Middle East . DAY 10 AQABA 🚌 PETRA 🚌 AQABA
Breakfast. Full-day visit to the Nabatean city of Petra, one of the wonders of the world, excavated from pink rock more than 2,000 years ago. We will access to the entrance of the gorge (Siq). From there we will continue to reach the impressive monumental complex of the Treasury (El Khazneh). Visit of the theater, the altar of sacrifice, street of the columns and the royal tombs. Back to the hotel. Accommodation.
DAY 11 AQABA 🚌 JERASH 🚌 AMMAN
Breakfast. Transfer to Amman. We suggest taking the optional excursion (with additional cost) AMMAN AND JERASH: Panoramic tour of the new and old city of Amman, known as Philadelphia: a tour of the modern area will be made, we will proceed to the city center with a view from the Citadel. Continuation to the city center towards the Roman Theater, traditional markets (souqs), churches and mosques. Departure to Jerash, one of the most complete and best preserved Greco-Roman cities of the Roman Empire known as Pompeii of the East, which indicates the great example of Roman urbanization. DAY 14 JERUSALEM 🚌 ANCIENT CITY 🚌 JERUSALEM
Breakfast. The visit will continue through the Old City: the Wailing Wall and the Via Dolorosa, visiting the Church of the Flagellation, the Chapel of the Condemnation, the Calvary and the Holy Sepulchre; the Temple Esplanade where the mosques of Omar and El-Aksa are located (entrance to the mosques is not allowed), the Roman Cardo and the Eastern Market. Continuation to Mount Sion to visit the Tomb of King David, the Cenacle and the Abbey of the Dormition. At night it is suggested to take the optional tour (with additional cost) TOUR TO TEL AVIV WITH DINNER: Visit to the Diamond Exchange, world trade center, where we will see buying and selling movement. We will visit a business with special Diamond prices. We will continue to Yaffo. Visit to the Church of St. Peter and the alleys of the city, with the 12 zodiac names, the port and all its beauty in Yaffo, then panoramic view of Rothschild Street with its Bauhaus architecture houses, Dizengof Street and its movement . We will continue with our Panoramic visit to the Sarona Market, which was a German Templer Colony in Tel Aviv. Dinner in Tel Aviv. Return to Jerusalem. Accommodation.
DAY 15 JERUSALEM
Breakfast. Day off. Accommodation.We suggest taking the optional excursion (with additional cost) to the DEAD SEA AND MASADA: We will leave Jerusalem passing through Maale Adumim and the Inn of the Good Samaritan. We will descend through the Judean Desert to the salty shores of the Dead Sea, which are located at the lowest point in the world (390 meters below sea level). Bordering the shores of the Dead Sea we will pass through Qumran where the famous Dead Sea Scrolls were found. We will continue to the Ein Gedi Oasis until we reach the spectacular Masada fortress. Cable rail ascent and visit of Herod’s Palace, the Thermal Baths, the Old Synagogue, Byzantine Church and the aqueduct. We will descend by cable car and begin the unique experience of bathing in the Dead Sea. We will visit the famous Dead Sea beauty products factory “AHAVA”. Return to Jerusalem.
DAY 16 JERUSALEM
Breakfast. Day off. Accommodation.We suggest taking the optional excursion (with additional cost) TO GALILEE, NAZARETH AND TIBERIAS: Departure from Jerusalem via the Jordan Valley, where we can see the Oasis of Jericho. We will skirt the border with Jordan until we reach the Valley of Israel and we will ascend through the mountains of Nazareth until we reach the city of Nazareth. We will begin our visit at the Basilica of the Annunciation where we will see the Grotto of the Annunciation, the Workshop of Saint Joseph and we will walk through the streets of Nazareth until we reach the Fountain of the Virgin. Passing through Cana, site of the first miracle, we will reach the Sea of Galilee and ascend to the Mount of Beatitudes, site of the Sermon on the Mount where we will have a magnificent view of the Galilee and the Golan Heights. We will descend to the shores of the Sea of Galilee to visit Capernaum, city of Jesus and house of Peter. We will continue to Tabgha, where the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes was performed, where the famous Byzantine mosaic is located. We will walk through the city of Tiberias, towards Yardenit, where the baptism commemoration site in the Jordan River is located. Continuing through the Jordan River Valley, ascending the Judean Mountains, we will return to Jerusalem. Accommodation.
